Directed by Mahdi Zamanpour Kiasari, ‘Papeli’ narrates the story of a poor family who lives in the northern regions of Iran.

Some 25 years ago, when Zeinab was only 7-month-old, something dreadful happened to her dad. He fell off a tree; he consequently lost power to walk as he had damaged his spinal cord in the unfortunate event. Now, Zeinab and her mother must take care of him and also work hard to make ends meet.
